The Antichefs / R&D
The Antichefs / R&D
Examples of restaurant menus online and in the wild.
My pitch deck will consist of two forms of media: a website and a physical resturant menu.
PHOTOS
Sourced from their website and Google photos.
MENU DESIGN
Simplistic & clean. No distractions. Modern. Paper is held in a black frame at the corners. Two pages fold open. Text is sans-serif (no feet!), each item separated with elipsis / dot leaders (?)
FONT / TYPEFACE
The logo is a thin sans-serif font with wide kerning.
LOGO
Uses iconography (a fork to represent the 'I' in DINNER. Serif font, with wide kerning similar to The Ladbury. Should I re-work The Antichef's logo to use wider kerning?
MENU DESIGN
The menu comes as a tri-folded piece of card or paper, bound with their logo. The fonts used are serif. Item header is large, item description is more hand-written. Quite simple and minimalist. No photos.
My initial ideas for the menu were to be hardback, black with a white or gold embossed logo on the front. But the restaurants I have looked at all appear to use simple plain paper.
I like the patterned border around the edges. Each section is framed by a design. This represents what I imagine a luxury menu to look like.
I might need to experiment with different designs and keep a record of them here.
